After new owners acquired the farm, we were tasked with firstly understanding and then secondly completing a partly constructed lodge (existing shell and roof) to the standard intended for international guests. The brief was to create a contemporary African Safari lodge, that would not only be suitable for all male hunting parties but also for their families and allow them to experience Africa and all that she has to offer; achieving this through the use of varied and layered materials, bespoke furniture, unique lighting, artifacts and artwork.
